I am considering getting the neck on this OOL model guitar reshaped. It's a bit fat and more of a C shape, do you think its feasible and can anyone recommend someone to look at it ? Lovely sound but the neck is too fat for me, alternatively, I could just move it on.

The amount of wood overlying the truss rod may be a limiting factor....?

I have a Furch with a re-profiled neck. I would say, if you really love the guitar, go for it (after appropriate discussions with a luthier as to practicalities).
Downside is that it it would affect resale value, but if it's a keeper then who cares?

Is a re-profiled neck noticeable to a prospective buyer?

I can only say that it is noticeable on mine, you don't need to look too hard at the finish to see it's not perfect.
The story with mine was that it was owned by an elderly gent who had arthritis and couldn't manage to play with the original thicker neck, so he had thickness taken out of it. So people get re-profiles for different reasons.
I've often wondered how much it cost to do it, because my other guitar is an OOM with a thick neck :-)

Looks like the neck of a classical guitar. If you don't want it send it this way 😋

That is my next / other option, sell it on.
Brook quoted me £300.00 and that included a complete neck refinish.

Mistake, it's less ********************************* It’s certainly something we’ve carried out a number of times before, it would be good to know what sort of truss rod is fitted and the depth it is in the neck – we obviously wouldn’t want to find the truss-rod during the re-shaping process. It’s likely to be £150 for the reshaping with an oil finish or £250 with a full lacquer finish. All the best, Simon Brook Guitars Tel: +44 (0) 1647 24139 www.brookguitars.com

If you don't want it send it this way 😋 Your comment made me curious, it isn't the thickness of the neck that makes this guitar feel unusual for me its the width. I measured it at the 12 fret and the fretboard is 60mm wide. I can see that this does have some advantages for some styles of playing. I just measured some other guitars at the 12 fret and they range from 55mm to 58 mm.
