New to me fatfingerjohn - but not sure about “fun”; it’s one of those things that, if it arrived on Christmas morning, in any right-minded household it would have a blunderbuss taken to it by noon.

Kalimba, eh? I've always referred to these as 'thumb pianos'. Indeed, I won one in a Friday Forum Giveaway from scorpiodog. Not easy to tune...

Used to have a Hugh Tracey Kalimba, loved it, wish I had never sold it. Had it tuned to Phrygian Dominant in A, was fab.
