Hello All,
Just wondered, did anyone see that documentary last Monday?
It was all about Teflon and other related floropolymers that are also used for coating guitar strings : they seem too hang on in the environment - including people - and be dangerous to health.
Might help influence whether you should use them at all, and I'm a fan of Cleartone and Elixir up too now that is.
If you didn't see it I think some some newspaper's covered it.
Best regards
Peter H

What was the name of the programme and what channel was it on? Hopefully, it might still be available on catch up as I would be interested to know more about that.

If it's 'Storyville, Poisoning America:The Devil We Know'' then it's on BBC iPlayer.

It’s OK - if we hang on for a couple of weeks the latest revelation will likely be that we need to eat more teflon as it is very effective at lining the gut and protecting it from those evil carcinogenic fruits and vegetables.

Typical of me, I read the post and missed the clue in the title, ""Storyville Doc.Poisoning America" + maybe coated strings" Just had a quick look on iPlayer and that seems to be the one, so I will watch it later. Thanks Phil
