I've been very interested tango for many years. Now, After a year of transcribing and arranging i've finally published the sheet music and tabs in a book and download called The Passion of Tango - Ten traditional tangos for the classical guitar. I've included some popular and some lesser known and rare tangos. here's a list and preview of the book. There is a link under in you'd like to read more about it. www.markhussey.com/the-passion-of-tango

Beautifully judged and controlled playing there Mark, and very enjoyable too! I'm sure the road to get to the finished project was long and full of tricky hurdles - many congratulations on hitting the winning tape. Kudos on the book too, and cool that you have the praise / support from Carlos Bonnell. Would that I were good enough on classical guitar, or indeed any guitar, to be able to explore the book - hope it does well for you. Mark Thanks so much for the very kind words. I'm a bit late to the game here as I lost my password and could not recover it for a while. But thankfully I have in time to announce my latest adventure in a new post

It's been ages since I posted here and I'm pleased to be back. Having spent a whole year trying to secure the rights to arrange and publish my take on various traditional Greek songs, I'm pleased to say I got there. I'm posting here perhaps the most well recognised tune for you to enjoy Zorba's Dance. The classical guitar repertoire has become so static that I felt new material was needed and in a completely fresh direction. I chose Greek music as I have roots in this and hope I can do it justice. It is rich in both harmony and rhythm and can be quite a challenge.
If this sparks interest you then here is a video on the complete works

Great performance Mark, but tell the audience not to clap next time please. Haha, I did this once and I can tell you it went horribly wrong

Hello and good morning to everyone. I'd like to share with you these 11 tracks that I recorded for my solo guitar album. A number of the tunes are well knows classical guitar tracks and others not so well known and I guess are contemporary tunes. I've included below a spotify link if anyone is interested in a relaxing 35 mins of music. Would love your feedback

I'd never heard of Nick Gowman, so I had to google him. That is definitely recognisable as his style. It's a fun cover I think... reminds me of The Simpsons or something. If you are going for a fun vibe with your cd then I reckon that would make a good cover. He is great artist and really easy to work with. The album is out in a few days so will likely get a few comments on the cover and contents

I like that arrangement, Mark, very seasonal. Mind you, having watched some of jonnymosco 's videos, the neck angle is all wrong. That's probably why it only sounds 'brilliant' instead of 'amazing' Its all about angles

Here is my effort at a Christmas Carol. This is 'The first Noel'. Figured it may be nice if you guys share a reply to this thread with your own playing of a Christmas guitar tune. Look forward watching any videos that pop up here.
