Very sad, I saw her for the first time in December, she had some stories and could still do a high kick above her head! RIP

Still have some of her early LPs. She'll be sadly missed. used to love seeing her on the telly.

Seeing her on television was one of my earliest experiences of live folk music. A sad day.

A sad loss indeed, like a few others (Hendrix, John Denver etc) she had to come to the UK to really be recognised. Her BBC series were a must for me and I still play her music often. I never really got Baez, too earnest for me, but I did like Julie Felix and Melanie.
One of my favourites of Julie Felix is this duet with Leonard Cohen.

I had some of her LPs as well during my very early formative years in my musical choices. I think I recall hearing her version of El Condor Pasa which was quite good.

Saw her for the first time a couple of years ago at the Lincoln Folk Festival, and I really enjoyed her performance. Such a shame she has sadly passed.

Lovely lady and a great influence on the genre. I held her guitar for her once in a local fl;k club!

Of all the pure voices that emerged in that era, I always thought Julie Felix's was the purist, not the most powerful, maybe, nor the most expressive, but the purist. I still go back and listen to her cover of "One Too Many Mornings" with John Renbourn on guitar. Pure, unadorned beauty, I think. Best, Jack
