Just created a new thread in Chrome without a problem. Try clearing all your cache if you haven't already?

Yeh, done all that. To be honest, this isn't the only site I have issues with, Chrome is getting more and more difficult to work with

Whenever I have problems with Chrome, which is not often, I first check to see if the issue is the same using Firefox and Edge. If that check indicates a Chrome problem, I disable all extensions, clear cache and try again. If it then works, I re-enable the extensions one by one to check if any of them are causing the problem. For quickness, you can try using an incognito window in Chrome as that opens without extensions enabled. If the problem still exists, I just uninstall and reinstall Chrome and for me that has usually resolved any problems. I have on a couple of occasions had to Delete the ‘Default’ Folder in Chrome’s User Data Folder, but be aware that this will reset your Google Chrome browser. Its default settings will be restored, and the history, bookmarks, cookies, cache, etc. will get cleared. Please be aware that I am simply relaying what has worked for me and not offering any qualified technical advice. That said , I hope it still may be helpful to you and have provided a couple of related links below which I would recommend reading before you consider deleting the ‘Default’ Folder in Chrome’s User Data Folder How to completely reset the Google Chrome browser to its default settings?Uninstall Google ChromeGood luck.
