Thanks All. I've been working on the neck and fretboard this week. I had planned to do the headstock face veneers too but realised I hadn't ordered them so they're in transit as they say... The neck and headstock have been roughly shaped but no actual hand profiling as yet. Fretboard has a 16 inch crown radius and the scale length is 632mm with a zero fret with a 0.8mm offset for intonation. Fret markers mimic the rosette.

Already looks fantastic Francis. Thanks. Well it has finally got a set of frets fitted and dressed, a few coats of precat lacquer applied, the bridge has been burnished ready to fit and I've got a new supply of bone nuts and saddles. I wonder if could ask Leo leoroberts for a set of his old strings...

Very lovely francis . I really love that headstock design. Also now looking forward to seeing what you do with the Selmer Maccaferri type guitar. Dale

The Maccaferri is going to wait a while. I need to do a bit more research before I dive into that one. I already have a basic mock-up but I need to think a bit more about the internal bracings and whether I need to crease the soundboard under the bridge line?
Whilst I read up on the Macca I'm building a short scale parlour with a 12th fret body join...

Couple of photos of the J45. I'll take some others this weekend but I think it's just about there now... Hope you like
