Sold the Sigma, and gave in to the urge to get a Busker Cannon. (I am a busker, you know ) They aren't currently available but Robin put me in touch with someone selling theirs second hand, so I'm not out of pocket much. Should be here next week. I actually did want it for busking, rather than buying a 6-string banjo. It doesn't really fit in with the "downsize everything" philosophy but the Cannons are almost pocket-sized...

How much for one ? I fancy me some reso! Busker resos get a good name, but as far as I known there are no stockists. You have to order them up from the Busker website or else go to Wales to try them out. You should have a look at the newish Gretsch resos. I'm very happy with mine and they are not too expensive at the moment, I think 'cos Gretsch aren't associated with resonator guitars. Decent quality cones in them, which a lot of the cheaper resos don't have.

Are there no actual entry-level resos out there? Im talking sub £200
