I often listen to Ian Anderson's monthly 'Podwireless' show. I usually find most of the music he plays a bit so-so, but there's invariably something that really stands out. This month it was Geiger von Muller, a solo slide guitar and fingerpicker. Genuinely odd slide guitar playing, it's as if he's taken standard riffs and chosen to play them all backwards ... or something. Fans of Marc Ribot, Tom Waits, Captain Beefheart will love it I would have thought. I see he's based in London, so I'll definitely be going to see him next time he plays live. geigervonmuller.com/?fbclid=IwAR0WSa3k0ZWumPMx05C1NpblnkWhg_XP8ofmCBiY5oahjWK4rCU0jr75Vwk

Spectacularly weird! He seems to have an awful lot of Space Lego, which is actually quite rare.

I enjoyed that - very idiosyncratic but interesting and worked well with the Lego things too.
