I have 12s on my D10e, either Martins or the Elixirs which seem ok. This is the first time I've heard people talk about string sets of the same gauge having different tensions. I need to look at this, especially as some have found a 'significant' difference. I'll crawl back in my cave now to do some research.

I came across some classical strings from Suarez, where the basses are normal tension while the trebles are high tension
