Change in pick guard makes all the difference. Looks great. How does it play? A bit like acoustics, I find Teles 'unforgiving' to play. There really is no place to hide with a Tele but I like that and once you get on top of that they can be so versatile. Makes me want to get one myself.

Been playing my Tele a fair but recently. Mostly unplugged early in the morning. They make a nice jazz guitar, as well as country and blues. And everything else.

cesspit it plays really well, just need to fine-tune the setup a little and get used to the narrow neck - compared to my acoustics @delboy they seem to do everything well, but I play mine more like an acoustic, like you so that I don't disturb the family

Silent practice to avoid disturbing the family is a noble enterprise, but there are always plug-in headphone amps; Vox make some quite good ones for about £40. I had an AC30 version that was not wholly dissimilar to the AC30 I used to play through as a teenage rock star . I wish I could remember who I lent it to.

Yes, my “silent practice” is actually into headphones via a pedal that simulates an old Fender amp rather than unplugged.
