Sounds very nice indeed. I played the £4k John Mayer Martin earlier this year and can testify that it didn't sound anything like that...

Anything Ben plays sounds amazing! But the grey top doesn't look great when the brown sides are also visible IMHO. And all that bling... and the price... Keith

I’m surprised that I like it. A lot.
Not a fan of bling, not really a fan of Martins (though I couldn’t explain why) but that looks really cool. I even like the grey burst.

Great playing and great sounding guitar. The grey burst does nothing for me at all though. I like the blink, I like bursts, but not in grey.

It’s a beautiful sounding guitar but maybe much of that is down to his playing. I don’t mind the bling but the grey is not appealing to me and would put me off buying it even if I were in the market for a 20 grand guitar. That’s £7,500 more than I paid for my first house and it came with a bath and back and front doors.

I prefer wood to look like wood not plastic. I was surprised by the inset ebony (?) scratch-plate and wonder what its effect is on the soundboard’s integrity and acoustics.
Like Doc, this guitar cost more than my first house but not by as much. But then my house was in the London commuter belt and came with not only doors and a bath but also a toilet…

A wee bit pricey and far too much bling for me. Be interesting to compare its sound and playability with a Collings OM. Is it any better ??

It would have a stunner in normal sunburst.

Interesting video. Not for me, I really don't like 'bling' at all, and prefer plain guitars. It sounds very good though, although not the best guitar especially for that price (yes tone is a personal preference). I think a dozen or more hand made luthier guitars sound much nicer for half or a quarter of the price.

I look at the price of that JM Martin, and think how many Larrivees I could get for that money.

It's a no from me. Too much, too grey. Sounds good, though. I am completely indifferent to John Mayer. Peter

This will age me, but 3x + the price of my first house (no bath or toilet and hole in the roof....). But that is a ridiculous amount to pay for the guitar. I don't like to pay for bling, only the sound. It does sound fine but it is hard to say how fine if you cannot hear it in person. It say's "Worth £19,999", I doubt it unless you are truly effluent...
