There is now a 'dislike' button next to the 'like' button, as those of you of a more curmudgeonly nature may have already gleefully noticed
This is purely for fun and should not be misused Another more serious addition is a limitation on how long any poster has to edit a post. Members now have one hour after posting something to make any changes and after this it will remain as it is. This is implemented purely to avoid the confusion that arises when something is changed or removed from a thread after a longer period of time that makes subsequent posts nonsensical. For example, a classified advert was recently deleted entirely, leaving the rest of the replies on the thread intact which looked very strange. If a member has a genuine requirement to amend or remove something they have posted after the time limit, they can still request a moderator change it for them.

Dislike system has been removed due to a potential stability issue.

After some consideration, the time limit for editing posts has now been increased to 24 hours after they are written.
Hopefully this should now allow some more flexibility when editing/refining posts, while still maintaining the integrity of a thread in the long-term.
