I think the dreaded GAS (Guitar Acquisition Syndrome) fades as you progress as a player. Oh how I wish that were true! But good luck with your purchase 68blues. I've got a Sigma too and I think it's an excellent and great sounding guitar.

Well guys I've had a look on youtube. There's a guy there who bought a sigma in a pawn shop and couldn't believe it. I did the same as him, played every note on the guitar and there was no string buzz. So I learn a song with two simple chords and easy fingering, Horse With No Name by America. Oh absolute joy, I sound exactly the same.....sort of. So what if I put my own words to it, no copyright infringement there. One last thing, I think a distance of 1.75 metres is the optimum distance to place the guitar for sitting staring at it. Thanks again guys?
