Thank you everyone for your lovely comments and words of support.
I really enjoyed my gig and I think my set wet down well. I think pnut will be able to give you a better idea of how it sounded- sometimes when playing its easy to get lost in your own world.
My set consisted of:
Sunday morning in January She moved through the Fair Catherine's Song Cranborne Chase Summer Rain
It's amazing how quickly 20 minutes go! Took the first couple of tunes to really loosen up a bit, but I think I hit my stride with the last two.
Thanks to pnut to coming along (and for letting me look at his superb new d18) and to Music Room for having the guts to put on such an event.
Oh and the band on after me, Day of the Rabblement, we're excellent and we'll worth checking out- really great songs, and interesting instrumental lineup.

Yep from the audience perspective it went very well, the last two in particular really flowed, summer rain is an amazing heartfelt and beautiful piece, in the quiet bits you could have heard a pin drop as people were watching and listening so intently, well done Robbie. As Robbie said, the band after we're really good as well, a lead girl singer with a great voice playing a Tangelwood dred, a mandolin player, bass, percussion and an accordion/squeezebox type thingy! I'll probably make the effort to go and see them if I'm around when they next gig locally.

Robbie I'm pleased it went well Robbie and I can imagine a silent audience when you played Summer Rain. That tune can't fail to move a listener because it's such an emotional piece. Well done!! Phil

I'm late to this, but congratulations.
Working hard to play well is one thing, and recording successfully another step along, but playing live is a whole different and potentially difficult area, especially if you're not doing it once or twice a week to get used to the nerves and puffy finger syndrome on the first tune or two.
I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Hi Rob
Really glad it went well - a bit of a mad week again this week but definitely up for a jam.
Cheers
