How about serial strandings, with a few months on each island?

What if you needed say for example, a girl backing group how many of those could you take I think that might break the "only one instrument" rule. But if you are going to break the rule, this is definitely the way to do it. In any event, as you have already opted for a Status Quo tunebook, you have already foregone any notion of harmony and, for that matter, good taste.

Thats right spoil my dream At least you would have less trouble catching them. Though you would still be left with the challenge, common to all of us of a certain age, of remembering what to do when you did. Brian

I'd have to take Juan Martin's flamenco method. At the moment it's as though nothing else exists. Not that I'm obsessive or anything.

I'd be hard pressed between "The Traveller's Tales" (Thomson/White) and "Butterfly" (Chesterton/Thomson/White). Both have been gathering dust on my shelves for far too long and it may well be that I'd need to be stranded on a deswrt island to give me the time to do summat wiv 'em! Having now encountered these two collections which, as a new arrival here, were totally unknown to me ..... I think I'd be looking at some way of smuggling them in along with my nominated Rob MacKillop book. Collectively that would be enough to keep be enjoyably occupied (and challenged) for however many years it took for rescue to arrive. These two collections have great tunes and with enough of the TABS are looking like they holding out hope that a half decent stab at them could just be achievable one day. Mark
