Cheers Dawkins, which model did you get? They are ace guitars, tone is getting close to perfection!

I have just bought another Larrivee 0M-05 to go with my other one bought a month ago - it was feeling lonely.
You know I'm so glad I discovered Larrivee acoustics. It's not that I hadn't heard of them, but rather, I had ruled them out in favour of the established brands: Martin, Taylor, Takamine, Yamaha etc. But when I picked up a Larrivee at Frailers in Runcorn I just connected instantly and it's a long time since that has happened.
It's all personal I know but I would suggest others here to give them a try.

+1 for Larrivees!
I had one of the very early and extremely plain (I like!) parlour guitars for several years and used it extensively - very nice too.
Also had an L-03SP (sapele) which I bought really cheap on eBay from a shop as it was described as having a small crack in the soundboard. It was small too - right at the very edge of the lower bout and completely supported by the linings underneath. Lovely sound from this guitar picked (very articulate) or strummed (quite a bit of nice bass oomph with strummage. Would have kept it, but found the fingerboard radius to be a bit shallow for long-term comfort. Back on eBay after a year or so and sold to a nice bloke from Liverpool just before Glastofest, which we were both attending, so he came on down to mine after the Fest to collect the guitar. Easy (and, slightly profitable) sale to a v satisfied buyer!

Yes Keith the fretboard is shallow and I think that is exactly why I like them and you put your metaphorical finger on it.
When I play a lot of guitars I kind of don't feel comfy with the so called 'C' shape radius on the fingerboard. For some reason they feel awkward and I always see that the botton E falls away in relation to the bottom A. But it's these little things, that as you get more experienced, you are able to feel and know what is right for you as an individual.

Frailers, very good shop. Went there about 5 months ago, large selection of new and used guitars.
