"Proper Job" as they say down south.
You should now be planning a trip to Samois next summer, where the Gypsies will give it a thorough running in.
Really enjoyable pilgrimage too.

It's pleasing that you approve, chaps. Maybe one day, herb. Nice suggestion. Until then Providence will determine my musical direction. The woods, out of general interest; North American cedar top. East Indian rosewood sides and back. African ebony fingerboard, bevel, tailpiece insert, rosette and bindings. North American walnut and figured maple neck. Rosewood bridge. Top marks to Chris George for his courage and tenacity as well as his craftsmanship. There were two totally new areas for him in this build; the Maccaferri design and the bevel. Successfully combining both was a major challenge. Many makers might have blanched and passed on the commission. Thank you, Chris George.

Gary,
I really like the birds at the 12th, pretty, but shouldn't they have been French cockerels?

The pictures - Wow!!!! The guitar - wow!!!! Your folk club looks damn good too. Yes, we're getting there, scorp. There's still a fair bit of renovating to be done - but after that I'll be free to paint and play guitar all freakin day All are welcome at the club, of course. It's ' Between the lines ' tomorrow night- including Big Phil Biggs and his lovely Lowden.

Aah, I see.
I hope there was no offence. Absolutely none intended!! My comment was meant to convey a little humour, given the French connection for the design/manufacture origins.
Can't improve on the comment by Scorpio. If I get to East Anglia sometime I will not be passing by.
As I said previously a pretty design for the 12th, and nice to have that personal touch.

I'm not in the least offended, herb. I understood your implication perfectly and I agree, a Pierre of cocks would be a nice motif for a Selmer adherent. I'm no jazz player though- I'm just exploring the Maccaferri potential as a fingerstyle guitar.

I heard Colin play this last night and it was lovely, and perfectly suited to his style of playing.
