Cool!!
Orange body with white scratchplate and black pickups, should look really good.

So other than final setup it's finished (the fitted nut needs some work) I'm realy very happy with this instrument. The hardware is perfectly functional, pickups seem ok (through my Irig) and there is no unwanted noise from the pots or the jack socket. Depending on how much work you want to put in to the finishing this is a nice weekend project! I might go for the Strat next (with a Tele head of course)!

This looks the d's b's - I'm even more tempted to try one of those - my 35 year old Aria bass is in need of a fair bit of work, and even then it'd still be a crappy old Aria bass. But one of these.... Thnaks for posting, Keith Keith

Great finish to the body - looks very good indeed - good work. That appearance and the fact that it seems to work fine from what you've said make it seem like incredibly good value for money. Mark

Final set up done and plugged into my old PA amp, WOW! I can't think of any reason to need to upgrade anything. There's plenty of tone (for me) from "Woody" to "Twangy" on the single pickup. Grayn, your right compared to the violin bass it's a beast, so maybe it'll be the J-bass next time for the thiner neck!
