hi everyone . is there anyone here who knows of a video or tab for tickling the trout. any help gladly received. went to ralphs loyal command performance. pretty /very good . shame no rags . looking at the age of the crowd , as we got to choose the songs, we must be getting sentimental in our 3rd age. for anyone who is interested. after a year or so of singing and playing in my local clubs I have learned a lot, and have reached the stage where my fingers don't stick together and I only mess up I little bit . still get nervous . I spoke to a seasoned performer who told me, nerves help keep you on your toes. the help I originally got from this site was invaluable .
cheers dicky

Ralph McTell's stuff seems to be very well protected on the net. I can't find a video of the song which will play. Does this page help? www.ralph-mctell.co.uk/sixstrings.htmlRalph was the Friday night headline artist at the Wirral Folk festival last weekend. He did a two hour set, of which I saw over an hour. Very impressive.

stanellison - Hi Stan, and welcome to the Forum! Lots of love for Ralph here. Why not say Hi to everyone in the Introductions Section, and maybe tell us a little about yourself and your musical tastes? (The name seems familiar..... ) Keith

I just wondered if any of the worthy souls on this site had tried to learn it . and before any one says to listen and learn , I have problems doing that , apart from basic keys and chords. its suprising what even one good look at a video can reveal all the best dicky
