Weird but gorgeous, and I treated myself to a few sound clips like the one posted above last night through my headphones. It has a HUGE sound - just amazing. Now let's see....Google tells me I can drive to Aberdeen in 2 hours 46 mins, so I could have this baby in my hands by, say....3.24pm today  |

Ah, interesting. So the magnetic bit is really only cosmetic. Really looks fantastic. Everything about it from the hollow headstock to the deep shine. Truly a thing of beauty.

The slots hold the ball end of the string in place..the fancy block is cosmetic but I'm guessing also serves a backup insurance in case things go wrong and they wiggle free or aren't seated properly...it certainly has a super strength magnet in it and seats with a very reassuring snap |

Obviously very high quality build, probably sounds wonderful, it's always seemed to me that most good guitars do, but I can't help it I just don't like the bridge, the headstock or the way the soundhole 'rosette' flows into the cutaway. Maybe when the top has aged a bit and the whole design has kind of mellowed out...? Sorry, there's always one dissenting Old Curmudgeon somewhere, just happens to be me today.
