Have a guitar build underway. It's a Medium Falcate braced steel strung guitar based on the \Gore/Gilet book with a few tweaks down to me... The sides have been bent and linings added, I've now turned to the soundboard: Rosette outline in BWB lines and paduk file for the panels:   |

(Ignoring Leo for the moment  ) Medium relates to the body size which is OOO/OM but with a deeper body 115 as opposed to 104 at the tail. Falcate bracing is a pattern of bracing the top similar to the bracing used in Heather's Parlour and the two multi-scale instruments: milsomguitars.weebly.com/heathers-parlour.htmlmilsomguitars.weebly.com/small-jumbo---construction-images.htmlCarbon fibre is also used with strands of CF tow resin bonded to top and bottom surfaces of each brace. The curved braces are also laminated using in this case 3 layers of spruce each 1.8mm thick, the braces are bonded double height and then split to form identical braces each side of the center line. Bracing times....   Falcate braces being applied - carbon fibre tow resin bonded to underside of all braces. Top edge of each will be shaped and further CF applied in the same way. |

Braces profiled. CF strips added to brace tops. Few ends to trim after the resin has cured fully.   |
