Anyone tried Ernie Ball Paradigm strings? I put them on my Heiner Dreizehnter, but then had to lend my guitar to my bandmate for two gigs as his pickup wires broke. Now I'm playing and the strings are gubbed. My bandmate didn't care for them much, but that's because he's used to Elixirs (as am I) and he found them squeaky. I'll have to chin him for the money for the strings though, as they were expensive (RRP around the same as Elixirs) and I didn't get to try them new. It was the 80/20s.
I've got a gig tonight so I'm going to have to change my strings again (ugh!) and only have Elixirs in the house. I'll give the Paradigms a go again, but their longevity and price don't seem to be sympatico to me.
Anyone else tried them and have some thoughts?

I tried a pack and was initially impressed with the tone. Unfortunately I broke 3 strings at a gig the next day. I VERY RARELY break strings and normally get 2 months or so from a pack of elixir gigging around 4-6 times a month.
It was pretty embarrasing and I am very unlikely to use them again.
