So i have really gone full circle.
I was so excited by the launch of the Legacy series from Faith, it felt like forever until they were finally released. When i tried them - for some reason, i wasn't moved. They were great guitars - however, i think i had built up the expectation to unreasonable levels.
Anyway, over 18 months has passed and i was getting the itch for a new guitar. I was completely open minded, but thought i was either going to go for something like an Atkin or go for something quirky and cheap like a lower end Faith or equivalent. In the store they had two Legacy Earth guitars and i don't know why, i asked to try one. I have to say i was totally impressed, it really felt good. The guy in shop - said, you should try the other one it's much better.... I asked why and they said it was a special order without a pick up and they had fitted an LR Baggs Anthem. So i gave it a go and WOW. I was totally blown away. It sounded amazing plugged in and unplugged. Surprisingly this is my first Spruce/Mahogany guitar. Anyway - i had to have it. It was priced the same as the standard model, i tried to get a deal and was told that they just couldn't reduce the price due to the LR Baggs they added. They could give me £200 off the other one..... So i spent two weeks thinking about before i decided i had to get it. I have been travelling for work so have it reserved with a deposit... i collect next week.... can't wait

... if you search for faith legacy series on youtube you end up with some pretty weird stuff! Just don’t get curious about the Naked series then!

I tend to agree with your ranking though recently I’ve played some really good Tanglewoods!
