This full concert is fantastic. I saw them in Manchester in the mid 70's but they weren't as good as this. Phil

Absolutely fabulous. I saw them about the same time.
I remember Santana had one couple of albums with Jon McLoughlin who was into the Maharishi thing. Santana had a new album out, Lvoe Devotion and Surrender which was stretching the loyalty of his fans a bit. I went to see them with a mate. Would they play all this crap yogi stuff forgo for the good stuff. They came on stage and played the whole of the first side of Abraxas without stopping. That kind of answered the question.
He's had him moments since but those early years! I love the recent album made by the reformed original line up. Wonderful as well.

I've just seen some videos on YouTube with the old lineup but didn't know there was an album I think Gregg Rolie's keyboard stuff and singing is excellent. Phil

Santana iV Phill.
Greg is there! The lyrics are a bit dodgy in todays age but the music is as good as it was then. Guest vocals from the Isley Brothers as well!
Worth hunting down.
