if you don't find these links of interest please tell me to stop However, when I stumble on something worth sharing I can't resist www.gak.co.uk/en/taylor-pallet-second-hand-/917202Would you pay 12K for a pallet guitar? It looks good and apparently, it sounds good. Not keen on the fretboard artwork though. John

Don't stop, John! I wouldn't be able to spend 12k on any guitar, never mind this one. Interesting curiosity, and no doubt someone will be able to justify the expense to own it and enjoy it. May be wrong, but can't help thinking that a lot of the price is for the scarcity/curiosity/potentially future historic value. Agree about the inlays! Keith

There are twenty-five so excluding this one there must be 24 happy customers/ owners somewhere
It is not something I would openly advertise as owning.

I've played one of these guitars at the Taylor factory - it sounded..... pretty good considering the wood choice but not as good as a 'proper' Taylor IMO... They are rare though...

Generally I'm not a huge Taylor fan, but I quite fancy owning one of these. Not enough to part with 12 grand, mind you.
