My older daughter Alice has suggested having a family jam night once we are settled in the new flat! She took guitar lessons in primary school but lost interest as she was never taught any chords or songs she knew. She refused to have anything to do with the guitar after that, but has recently been sneaking into the room to listen to me play, and it seems to have sparked some interest. My younger daughter has always had an interest in the guitar, she has a Yamaha Jr and also likes to mess around with my husband's mandolin. Steve has a Deering Goodtime Banjo that he loves (thanks to Martin for helping us choose it) We're going to pick some easy songs the girls know and play them kind of Cleverly's style, make it as fun as possible so the girls don't feel pressured. Really looking forward to it, if Alice gets into it at all I will give her my Sigma.

Sounds like it could be a lot of fun, Lynn .... And there's a good spread of instruments involved!

Sounds like it could be a lot of fun, Lynn .... And there's a good spread of instruments involved! That's what I thought...and if Alice gets rhythm down at all I may try the dobro. I might even make them all go down to the folk club or open mic with me
