I just published episode 4 of my podcast, an interview with Gordon Giltrap. anchor.fm/cams-campbell/episodes/Gordon-Giltrap-e28lu6/a-a5dakcPlease subscribe to my feed in your favourite podcast app, and like and share as much as you feel able as I'm really trying to get some traction with this. I did publish this interview on YouTube a couple of weeks ago. This was the only interview of which I took video and I'm not sure whether to keep going with that for future interviews or just go with audio. Naturally video is way harder and requires a lot more gear, as well as having to be in the same room!

Great watch and listen Cams - personally I prefer the video format over just audio.

I like the video as it keeps the listener's attention. However, I would also agree that it isn't really necessary.

Thanks for that, Cams - v enjoyable! Another vote for video from me - audio is fine, but video deffo adds something - even when you're both just slobbing out relaxing! Keith

I hope you’re going to bring your podcast machine to Halifax. Leo needs a global audience.

Great bit of video that, Cams. I prefer watching video - but having an audio version is great for when I'm in the car or walking (I'll not even pretend to go jogging, let alone running!) I've met Gordon a couple of times (through guitbrett) and he has always seemed to be a most humble person - something which this interview really captures. I'd've been interested to hear how his technique (plectrum and fingers) developed. I've never had the nerve to ask him and now you've failed, too, damn you!

Cams Thanks - really enjoyed that. I saw him live once in Swindon of all places! Is there a recording of your duet with him?

A very enjoyable video Cams. Audio only makes a good listen, but video does add something. I guess you get more insight to what is being said when you can see facial expressions, body language etc. A very relaxed interview, all very natural, and just reinforces the impression I have of how Gordon Giltrap is very much grounded and down to earth and lacking in airs and graces.
