Blast it, ive just been informed by the shop im visiting at the weekend that they no longer have the AB3 autumn in stock, they are going to try and get one in for me though, it was the main reason for the 60 mile trip, they said theres plenty other brands to try, my only worry is that if i get something else without trying the AB3 will i end up regreting it. Scrub that, the shop just contacted me and told me they will have one instore for me to try for the weekend, good shop good shop Did you go to seen the AB3 Autumn? Looking at the specs its an all Koa laminated body, seems a lot of money for a laminated guitar though 600 punds sterling.. 700 euro How was it to play? It does look awesome... Hello, yes i had been and played it 3 times before i commited to it, i did play a handful of other guitars in that price range and the AB3 autumn was the winner hands down for me, at 515 pounds with some free stuff chucked in and a hard case which is what i paid, i think it was a good buy, im not really that bothered about it being laminated because it sounds goooood and plugged in it sounds great, it plays very well, the tone is lovely over the whole board, its got that small body sound but with the warmth of the koa with is a little like mahogany it is just a really nice guitar to play and it looks good to, im happy with my purchace.

I couldn't see myself paying that for an all laminate guitar. I know that an all laminate guitar is not for everyone but it sounds great and thats what i bought it for, i dont think that just because a guitar is laminated it makes it inferior in anyway, we are all chasing a sound not a piece of wood, thats what i think anyway.

Everything is so subjective ... If it gives you the sound you want, then it's worth what you're prepared to pay for it!
I'm sure you've made a good choice and will be more than happy with your new guitar. Good on yer!

ive been trying to post up some pics of my guitars but i have no idea how to do it, can anyone help. I had the same issue, I was told you have to put the photos up on photo bucket and then paste them on here. I didn't do yet though. Id say if you have a flickr account you could do it that way too, not 100% though...
My guitar is solid top but laminate sides and I love the sound. I have heard a clip of yours on you tube it seems to have a great tone. Plus the guitar looks Ace..
Been looking at a few websites and freshmans own website it doesn't say its laminate or solid so it maybe infact that it is solid. I was always told if it doesn't say SOLID then it is probably not solid.. Do you have any concrete evidence either way now you have it home with you?

trying this fliker and still no joy Upload to Photobucket.com. Each pic is then allocated a specific IMG code. Copy the IMG code(s)for any pic(s) you want to show, and paste it (them) into the post you are composing. The pics appear when you finally make your post. Keith

The links you posted are fine, and lead to nice pics! But to display a pic actually in your post you need use the IMG link for each pic and then the pic will appear without folk having to follow your link. I've done just that for each of your two lovely pics - hope that's OK with you! You can put as many pics as you want in one post though. keith

Congrats Rich on your lovely new purchase and Leos spot on , if your happy with it and like the sound and playability then that's all that matters after all we don't spend our hard earned cash on guitars , just to please others . I really like the look of it too and your Tanglewoods a nice looking instrument as well , very similar to my Sigma . Good luck with your new geetar .
