Hello all,
If any one is able to make me a copy of THE GENIUS OF BERT JANSCH, on BBC4 Friday 28th of March, I'd be eternally grateful. Bert is my biggest musical inspiration.
Happy to pay for costs and postage or trade!!!!!
Thanks Russ down under.

Hi Russ,
I'll go halves with you if you're interested. Probably worth a trip to the mountains to meet you, see the show and swap a few guitars...
Cheers

There's a "Bert Jansch In Session" a couple of hours after the main programme (following the Fleetwood mac documentary)

Cheers marcus Hi Marc, definitely we should sort something out! Was down in Sydney last weekend doing a guitar workshop with Stefan Grossman. The documentary is on youtube right now, I guess it will be removed soon. Russ

Hi everyone - I've not posted on here before, but have hung about reading a bit. As a massive Bert Jansch fan I have been waiting for this to be aired on TV with bated breath, and thought it was fantastic. I have managed to make a copy of it for a friend in Australia who was unable to see it on Friday, so if anyone wants a link to it, send me a message and I'll sort you out. I'm assuming that the one on youtube will be taken down soon (although there seems to be a genuine will from Jansch's people to make this available to everyone and anyone, which is a brilliant attitude to take)
Slight aside, but anyone want to speculate about who Wizz thought High Days was written about? I have two names in mind, but wondered if others had ideas.

Might just be me but did anyone else think some of the singing was a bit below par on the tribute show? We all know Robert Plant has seen better days but he was one of the better ones. Also, why has Ralph McTell not put his name forward to say he can play Anji?
