Glad you dig it man. I bought the Fishman Loudbox in the end. Couldn't justify the expense of the Acus at the moment. For £240 i figured it was worth a punt. Can always sell it on if it doesn't cut it. Will let you know i get on with it on its first outing.

I agree with Keith. I have an AER Compact which is more than powerful enough for most small rooms. I've used it with a mixed as well successfully (thought mostly without). This tactic should work well it's the smaller Acus. Lightness means portability and I've learnt to value that! I have a Compact 60-3 and a more recently acquired Acus One-8 which was going very cheaply on eBay otherwise I would not have bothered. All I can say is that the Acus has become my go-to Amp of choice. I never thought anyone would move me from AER but it has, a less coloured and more natural sound to my ears and great looking too.
