There’s an earlier thread here about my album launch on Saturday. I’ve just got some photos from my friend Perry, the male half of the duo Wragged Tree who opened the show, so here goes... Soundcheck: “Oi, leoroberts ! Are you chewing?”: Wragged Tree (Hilary and Perry): Another Fylde fan, Perry was playing his rather lovely Sinker Redwood/Claro Walnut Ariel: I joined them on my Lag nylon string for their rather spiffing version of Bobbie Gentry’s Ode To Billie Joe: Second act, Phil and Ian aka The Huers. These guys are official demonstrators for Bose PA systems at various guitar shows, and their set was every bit as professional as that implies: Ian was Associate Producer and general handholder on my album: This is my son. It might look like he’s taking photographs, but in fact he’s just a bit shy: Even Fyldes don’t tune themselves: Colin, on the left, played electric guitar on the album but here he’s borrowing my Martin OM18V for a fretboard workout: Fylde Orsino? Thumbpick? That’ll be my one song in open D then: Nice glimpse of figured Claro Walnut here: And finally...the proceeds of the raffle (with many of the prizes generously donated by guests), plus half of all takings on the CD table were being donated to a local charity supporting homeless and disadvantaged people, so here I am handing over a cheque for £300 to them today:

The rug is a nice touch, as is the little inlay detail on your headstock, looks a great night Richard!

Can I mention - from a health and safety perspective - all of those leads look a bit dangerous.

Lovely photos.
I met someone recently with a guitar that did actually tune itself. Some device he'd retrofitted to the headstock on his Martin Junior dread, keeps it tuned automatically and you can press a button to dial in the alternate or open tunings of your choice.
