Sorry, I'm not keen on the head veneer! The rest of it is gorgeous though! I think the faux MOP goes well with metal bodies but the wood bodies are a little more austere. Anyway, I believe the Do'pyera bro's mother was very often heard to be screaming "who's nicked the toilet seat again"!

A friend of mine has a Taki and I find the neck too chunky. Why not trade it for something else? I think it takes alot of experience to get necks right and you'll only have one chance. And, shaping it attached to the body will be difficult! I wouldn't do it

I'm kind of swaying between what you meant Jonny after reading this whole thread (not the AGF one though, phua)!
Did you want to know if they'd buy the guitar back for after you'd finished abusing it, and what they'd give you? Or, Did you want to know if they'd give you your money back after you'd abused it for a month or two?
I see two very different requests here and would expect two different reactions.
By the way I've never been to the States, I've only met Americans that have the guts to travel!!

Who ever told him it isn't worth repairing will probably offer £50 scrap value! Just because it has nylon strings now doesn't mean that's what it's meant to have. I think it has value and to be honest it doesn't look in bad condition. I'd love to take it on as a renovation but I fear distance forbids it Edit. I recon as a good playable guitar it may be worth around £800. (this is a guess)! Edit II Value around $2000. It is well worth repairing!

Just as a matter of interest, go to ebay and search "broken guitar", it's amazing how many instruments must arrive at the suppliers from the factory with this sort of damage.

Lovely, very much like the Hofner Club Bass. I don't think it's totaly hollow like my violin bass but you'll still get that rumbling in your belly when you play it!
