Like the idea of simple too. Thought that if too much inlay used it would distract from the burl that's going to be used in the guitar,however...have been very ill this last two years and only now feeling like my old self so as you say,and Ted says something personal to me might be an idea and worth considering. What that might be however I have no idea!!!!

Hey, Already have a thread going on in builds (Astrand OM). Just wanted to pick your very knowledgeable brains as to what you think about Fretboard inlays.
getting to the stage where i will soon have to make a decision on whether to have some inlay work done or forget the idea.
Teds guitars are aesthetically super clean and i am usually not one for adornments or bling, but you just need to look on his Instagram page or inlay artist Magnus Ramel's page (Ted uses Magnus for his work) to see whats possible. The combination of Teds work, various ideas and Magnus R's very precise work is fabulous and a testament to them both in their individual crafts.
feel free to knock the idea in its entirety or sing its praises for all to hear, but would genuinely like to hear your thoughts
in anticipation
