Lovely- never seen a bad guitar from the brook Boys and their stuff knocks the socks off most of the high end USA stuff imho.

Thumbpick for me with natural nails.I have just acquired a Fred Kelly pick -not the pointy one and it really is a game changer-before that used Dunlops but heavily filed down and shaped.

Over time I have used a Baggs MI ,a Sunrise and a Shadow pickup and all have performed well. The big advantage is the lack of feedback but you have to take care when installing to avoid damaging the finish of the instrument around the soundhole

Thanks for such an excellent video.I had been considering getting a BAM for a Huss and Dalton 00 on the basis that old age and heavy guitar cases don't mix. Thanks for saving me an expensive mistake.Hiscox cases generally seem to do what it says on the tin but are pretty awkward to store round the house after you have more than one of them.Where do you buy the visesnut from???

Hi everyone sorry to bring up the painful subject of strings but I am interested to hear peoples views.I play a Huss and Dalton 00 and have always used Phosphor Bronze 52-11s - this was mainly because I didn't want to put anything heavier on the instrument and put any stress on it- should I increase the gauge up to 53 -12 as the tone I am getting at present is sweet but not particularly deep or punchy? - same query applies to a Martin 028v which I mainly play at home.
