hello all I decided to build a new guitar to represent my design of acoustic guitars this time I have used exotic Ebony and torrefacted spruce for the top. unfornutely I dont have many photos, I was so focus in the work that I forgot to make more pics, sorry. Is not finished yet but almost...      |

After reading about various options, I have decided to use melamine, why...  I don't have conditions to use lacquer in my shop, like I said I use the shellack in my classical guitars, the melamine makers have the spray cans and normal to use by airgun or brush . After read that some people his using this finish , like the Taran guitars for example I decided to try it. In the soundboard the guitars has a very thin amount and continues with a great taping sound, but I need to put the strings and listen the final result. |

Ok, so it LOOKS great ... but what does it SOUND like? well I decided some years ago never talking about how it sounds for one very special reason, everyone has is way to listen and what can be extent for you can be not so good for other person, this way I use to prefer to ppl use their opinion and believe me there are really different. I must ask all interested in came and test it, here in my house or in some festivals that I go presenting my guitars, even recording is never the same thing as touching and playing live |
