Gary,
They look interesting. If you click on the "Find a Dealer" button on the website from your link (bottom rightish) it allegedly shows you dealers and nearest to you seems to be Miller's Music Centre, Cambridge.

Gear4music stock the guards - www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/Ortega-OERP-Electrostatic-Reusable-Pickguard/M8S, - but I suspect you might be thinking of buying the sheet material to cut to shape yourself Gary? No idea what the material is, but previous branded electroststatic pickguards all carried warnings of probable damage to nitrocellulose finishes, and possible damage to other finishes if left on for long periods. This seller warns against using tthem on French Polished instruments schneidermusik.de/shop1/product_info.php?products_id=79597&language=enNo idea whether oil finishes would be likely to suffer, or even if the stuff would cling to a less than full-gloss surface. I expect the film is likely to give off unplasticised chemicals of some sort. Could be time for some clinical trials here Gary - one Ortega guard is cheap enough - you could cut it up and try it on various differently finished wood offcuts? Keith

A client has already successfully used one of these pick guards on one of my French polished guitars. I was thinking of a sheet of the stuff to protect any instruments used for demonstrations.
