I'm looking out for a small table saw precision is important. I realise a cast iron table is ideal but size and cost is a major consideration. The ability to rip sheet material is NOT what I'm envisioning doing! Any thoughts?

I have a Dewalt DW 745. It's a 'site saw' and a little rough and ready - and a little noisy. It is, however, pretty accurate with a good fence. It's also not too expensive. I've also heard good things about the Bosch GTS 10 XC... I think Axminster do a reasonable cast iron-topped saw at around the same price point... Induction motor so maybe a little quieter.....

I’ve seen the Axminster mounted into a work table and it looks good I was wondering what comes close at a lower price point

I have just bought a proton table saw, link below. The blade supplied is 1.6mm , it has a cut depth of 22m and I am finding it really useful. It can also be fitted with a 50mm x 0.5mm blade which is perfect for cutting fret slots. Certainly cut down how much I use my bandsaw. www.axminster.co.uk/proxxon-fet-table-saw-210576

I've got the Dewalt on one end of a bench with a router table on the other end. However, I'm just finishing a bigger workshop and I'll be able to separate the two - soon...
