A friend of mine is at the Beverley Folk Festival this weekend and sent over this picture of Colin Kendall's stall to make me jealous....

I reckon his 'deco' instruments (like the mandolin, bottom right, based on a 1920 Stromberg) bear a striking resemblance to Gary Nava's 'type 2' shapes... lovely...
