Hey all,
Been on a Bert trip today (I've given myself the task of learning a few of his tunes during lockdown) and I stumbled across this on Youtube:
Posted by Colin Harper (who wrote Dazzling Stranger) it's a recording of Bert's solo show to promote Rosemary Lane, and the only solo show of the Pentangle-era. Some of the songs were never performed outside of this performance so it's a pretty cool recording!
Rosemary Lane is probably my favourite of Bert's album so I was chuffed to find this!

I really enjoyed listening to this. Oh, if I could only play half as well as this then I'd be a happy chappie. Just to add.....I also enjoyed the magazine article (Time Out?) at around the 25 minute mark.
The more that I hear and read about this feller the better.
Stay safe everone.

This really is a fantastic recording. I am quite new to Bert`s work and keep coming back to this one. Thanks for posting it.

This is a lovely moment in time, capturing Bert in his best years.
Fortunately there are a few good live performances captured of both Bert solo, with others as a duet, and Pentangle, not to mention the one with him, Ralph McTell, Stephan Grossman, and Jan Akkerman. In fact, that's my favourite, so I'll link it -
It was this performance by Bert which made me want to learn 'One for Jo' 'Lady Nothing', & 'Moonshine', and I am so glad I did, they are beautiful.
