There is a new book on the life of Robert Johnson coming out soon by his 94 year old step sister Annye Anderson. Up until now it was thought that there was only two authentic photos of him. and Now they have a third, which I believe came from his step sister. Not as earth shattering as finding the 30th song, but interesting Book Cover Colin

I read everything I can on pre war blues, so I’ve ordered the book.

Hah there he is. A fancy, fiddly E7 at the 9th fret by the look of it with that little finger jumping up and down across the top two strings - with a fast hammer on, pull off no doubt. Probably playing in A. He's always playing in A that Robert Johnson. He's probably playing Kindhearted Woman Blues. Hmmn, funny how a little bit of information can go a long way. Seriously, those LP's were, are, great weren't they. So bloody intricate and musical..

That's really cool, thanks for posting Colin. Might need to get that book... I read an interview with his sister. She’s putting the record straight because he wasn’t like everyone said he was her sweet brother ;-)
