Ey-up team - i am in a bit of a quandry unsure of what to do, so i am looking to this friendly community for advice and direction if i may please So the plan was to upgrade my classical guitar first then get a banjo and mandolin to learn too, then i thought of getting a banjo before the classical. Now i am not sure as i really like learning classical guitar albeit very basic at present (just started doing basses and trebles ) so i might stick to original plan and upgrade the classical before getting another instrument.....you still with me team? Added into the mix is my ukelele, and at 250 quid i dont just wanna leave it sat in the bag doing Nowt, so i also want to start lessons on this asap but struggling to find a tutor local to me, the one i tried hasn't got back to me. So once i find a uke teacher i will be learning 3 instruments, acoustic, classical and uke So do u reckon i should just stick with that for now and upgrade my classical as planned and wait a while before entering the banjo and mandolin world or what? Sorry guys i know it was a bit long winded, now you know how my mind works Phil Ps - i will have between 700-800 quid to spend on a classical if that's the route you think?

Upgrade the classical, sell the old classical and put the money in your mando/banjo fund for if and when you get bored of learning that and the uke.

Got my old vintage acoustic on ebay at present but not holding my breath on it to be honest? 700/800 quid will buy me a sweet classical i think?

If classical is where you're putting your money, Phil, then I'd concentrate on that for your focus, too... .... For the time being

Yeah Leo i think i will concentrate on getting good on acoustic and classical and ukulele then look at banjo and mando in a couple of years maybe or a tad sooner depending how things pan out its hard for me to watch u lot of talented musicians playing the.different instruments which makes me wanna jump right in and learn them too - thinking more with my heart rather than my head i think aswell as being.a bit.greedy maybe too Rome wasn't built in a day as they say

The point is that you're enjoying the classical and steel string - and remember that some of the technique you learn there will translate to mando and banjo later on.
