I'd never heard of Comus bfore I read Electric Eden by Rob Young. Since then First Utterance has become one of my favourite albums

I've been a huge fan for decades. That acoustic solo on The Herald... It's one of the reasons I started playing guitar again, it's still a long term goal to be able to play it.
If you liked Electric Eden, check out "Seasons They Change: The Story Of Acid And Psychedelic Folk" by Jeanette Leech too, covers some of the same ground.

I've always loved listening to folk music but being more excited by punk in the '70s it was unfashionable and readily dimissed in my circles, so I know very little about the backround to it. Electric Eden was fascinating and really resonated with me and I'm enjoying exploring some of the weirder stuff on youtube, so I'll look forward to reading Seasons They Change.
