Lovely.....as a matter of interest what years are they? The 12 string looks really well used, bet it sounds wonderful. Are they 35s?

Hi, I like matched 6 & 12 too, but for me t had to be a 12 fret D35-S, which didn't happen for a long time.
I now have a Collings Ds2h and a D12-20 which was rebuilt by Martin in 1998 with a X35 trim (dunno why).

If it helps as an alternative to hosting, if you go into the forum via the Tapatalk app instead of via a web browser you can upload directly. You only have to use the app when you upload the photo. You can go back to web browser the rest of the time if that is your thing.

curmudgeon K Tresp If you press the orange "Reply" button to the right of the screen (instead of typing directly into the "Quick Reply" screen) you will find a grey "Add attachment" button on the right. This allows you to upload a limited number of smallish files directly from your computer. This Forum has still some spare capacity for uploading files, but that capacity is finite, which is why we prefer (although cannot insist) that members use hosting sites wherever possible. Keith

Hi, the whole uploading photos thing is a nightmare but.......I went over to Imgur to host photos a few years ago and it is not only an excellent hosting site but they have made uploading photos to a forum or anywhere else really easy (also a doddle to upload your photos to the Imgur site). On Imgur you can just go to the photo, right hand click on it, and choose 'copy image link'. You then go to the forum where you want to upload the photo, press 'control' and 'V' at the same time and that's it! Incredibly easy. Edit......I have just gone into my Imgur account to double-check it's still the same as it was the last time I used it! I just went into 'my images', clicked on a photo, and immediately all the download options appeared on the right of the photo so you literally just choose which option you need. You can still right click on the photo as I mentioned before and paste it onto a thread. I love your Collings DS2H. The body looks incredibly deep in the video and must sound huge. I had a Patrick James Eggle 12-fret Kanuga which is a round shouldered dread with a slotted headstock which was almost identical to your Collings. I don't think there is anything out there that sounds like a 12-fret dreadnought. Personally I found the combination of large body and 12-fret neck a little difficult to navigate, particularly above the 9th fret but it sounded sublime. I keep hankering after a 12-fret again but I think I would go with a smaller body size.

Hi Surfguy, sorry for delay in responding. The Collings 12 fret design is pretty much the same dimensions as the Original Martin dreads, and no deeper than the 14 fret versions.
All my flat tops are 12 fretters but the sole reason is the fretboard width which I require which is 1 & 13/16" at nut and at least 2 & 5/16" string spacing.
