This is the same model of guitar which I have, but mine is in 'Player's Condition' (ie not in the best state), I picked it up about 10 years ago before the reissues drove up prices, for a pitiful amount. It's a 1970 HIIN. Of all the guitars I own it's the last one I'd ever part with. I really need to get some professional work on it to sort somethings out on it at sometime.

Nice There is a Hagstrom guitar site in uk which is run by a fan who owns many Hags and has sold a lot as well lots of Hag memorabilia www.hagstrom.org.uk

Good news and bad news First the bad Hagstrom are sold out of the Macine heads for my guitar and don't seem very enthusiastic that the will get any more. So to plan B
Took the Machine head down to the chap who does our cars Bill who also plays guitar in a band
He sorted it in 1 minute flat cut the rivets with a small grinder refixed the axle or whatever you call it and its gone back on perfectly
