Love the sound of this singer-songwriter's album. Apparently played on a dirt cheap classical guitar.
Not all the songs are my cup of tea really - bit too derivative of Leonard Cohen, Simon & Garfunkel and others - but it has a rawness and a very in-the-room feel. A big tip of the hat to whoever recorded and mixed it because it somehow manages to sound very big and very small at the same time, a dark guitar sound that's also very clear.

Yes, thanks for that, I like that guitar sound.
It got me to thinking, there are so many different sounds that you can get out of a musical instrument that a sensible thing to do is to go for the sound that you want. Not the same sound all of the time but the sound that you want in that context. Apologies if I'm sounding obvious but something just became clear to me. Uh oh, here we go again, limitless variations on the never ending road.
