I've got four other higher end Teles so I needed another like a hole in the head but I recently aquired an old and very cheap Jay Turser that seemed to have possibilities so in the interest of staying cheap I put a Fender Mexican Tele bridge and a $34 GFS Dream P90 neck pickup in her along with an upgraded Obsidian Wire control harness. I've always been a names mean nothing and specs are everything kind of guy when it comes to the guitar itself and as long as it had expensive pickups all would be well but these cheap pickups have got me changing my opinion about that as well. Crisp bass with sweet mids and trebles and sustain to no end. Call me befudled.  |

Can't go wrong with a Telecaster. Under appreciated in my humble opinion. I've used one to batter a burglar that entered my domain.....and it still played perfectly in tune afterwards.
