Wouldn't it be nice if a Luthier (or group of Luthiers) were to get hold of some of the timber from the vandalised 300 yr old Northumberland Sycamore; and make some special instruments as a kind of tribute. We know how well Sycamore works in bowed instruments, and Maple bodied Guitars can sound lovely------just sayin'
