No, didn't do that song as the room was not particularly good acoustically so had to be a bit livelier. Admit it - you couldn't remember the words That's true of anything i've written or practised in the last 10 years or so. No memory cells left for newer stuff hence the need for prompts. Just to emphasis the point of the song, at one session in Portugal I played an abbreviated medley of 2 x Kris Kristopherson songs as a bit of a tribute to him (he'd died a few days earlier). I needed no prompts, had sung neither song in recent years but was word perfect even with the stress of playing in public š. Had learnt the songs 50 plus years ago and they were still fresh and available. Proves the power of music in a certain part of the memory and how there's no room for new stuff any more with some people. I fear it may only get worse ...š¢
