I used to get offers of reduced selling fees once a fortnight.
Since the New Year I haven't had any which is a bit annoying because I have a couple of guitars to sell.
Does anyone else still get them or have they stopped for you too?

I got one today, having sold an item yesterday. I'm guessing if you don't sell anything for a while the offers dry up.

I'm just going to advertise on gumtree instead.
Mind you, they keep changing the seller interface and they've been getting on my nerves for a while so maybe it's for the best.

I asked ebay and a customer service rep got back to me and said they were sent on a random basis and I was just being unlucky.
Anyway, I won't be using them until I get a decent offer, whatever the reason.

The discounts aren't offered as often as they used to be. I used to get lots of "Max £1 selling fees" but now the best I get is 75% off the fees, and I only get them every 3-4 months or so.

I sell quite a lot. Happens every couple of weeks for 80% off seller fees for me.

I haven’t had any for about a year. I was only selling with the reduced fees so I guess they’ve sussed me and stopped.

I haven’t had any for about a year. I was only selling with the reduced fees so I guess they’ve sussed me and stopped. When I contacted customer services he suggested I open a new account and sell from that to get new offers.
But he also said that they were allocated at random and that there were also the £1 total fees offers available too (as opposed to the 80% that I was getting before they dried up).
Also, I don't think it's about sussing you. Only selling with the offer is what everyone does. They make their money from commercial sellers. We're a loss leader to attract more customers to the site.
